Brookline Bank Announces Holiday Food Drive to Benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank
Brookline, MA, 12/12/05 – Richard P. Chapman, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Brookline Bank, recently announced that the Bank will hold its annual food drive to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. Brookline Bank will be collecting non-perishable food items from Thursday, December 1st thru Saturday, December 31st at each of their fifteen locations in the Greater Boston area.
“We feel very strongly about being a good neighbor to the communities that we serve,” stated Chapman. “The employees of Brookline Bank donate their time and money to worthy causes throughout the year. The Brookline Bank Food Drive is an excellent vehicle to help our employees and the members of the community reach out to those who need help during the holiday season.”
“We are extremely grateful to Brookline Bank for organizing this Holiday Food Drive. The canned items collected from the numerous bank branches will mean food for hundreds of families this holiday season,” said Jessica del Rosario, Administrator for the Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program at the Greater Boston Food Bank, which serves communities throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.
Drop-off boxes will be set-up in the lobbies of all fifteen Brookline Bank branches throughout Greater Boston. All members of the community are encouraged to participate. Branches are located in Arlington, Bedford, Brookline, Lexington, Malden, Medford, Newton and West Roxbury.
