Brookline 300 Quilt on Display at Brookline Bank’s Main Office

Brookline, MA, 08/08/06 –Brookline Bank announced that the Brookline 300 Commemorative Quilt is currently on display at its Main Office located at 160 Washington Street through the end of August. 

The quilt was produced for Brookline’s 300th anniversary by the Brookline Senior Center, and depicts unique areas in the town.  The quilt has been on display throughout 2006 at various Brookline locations, including the Brookline Bank offices in Coolidge Corner and South Brookline, and area quilting shows.  The quilt will be on permanent display at the Senior Center at the end of the year.

Brookline Bank served as the Main Sponsor for Brookline 300, the 300th anniversary celebration for the town.  In addition to monetary support, the Bank offered branch space, volunteers, and logistical assistance for the planning and individual events associated with Brookline 300.
