William R. MacKenzie Joins Brookline Bank

as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending

Brookline, MA, 03/16/16 – Brookline Bank announced that William R. MacKenzie has joined the Bank and will serve as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending.  He will be based in the Bank’s Main Office in Brookline Village.

Mr. MacKenzie will be responsible to further develop the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio, while also increasing the deposit relationships of the commercial customers. 

Mr. MacKenzie has over thirty-three years of banking experience.  He most recently served as a Regional President with Citizens Bank, Pennsylvania.  He has held additional commercial lending positions with Shawmut Bank and Fleet Bank.

A resident of Westwood, Massachusetts, Mr. MacKenzie holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Boston College, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Boston University.  Mr. MacKenzie has also held directorship positions with Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries, the American Red Cross of Massachusetts, and the Associated Industries of Massachusetts.
