Brookline Bank Announces Promotions in Retail Banking Division
Brookline, MA, 01/08/06 – Brookline Bank announced the promotions of the following individuals: Thomas Aguiar, Paul B. Lewan, Katerina Semizoglou, and Mark A. Flores.
Mr. Aguiar, of West Peabody, Massachusetts, and Mr. Lewan, of Hudson, New Hampshire, have been promoted to the position of Regional Manager. In addition to their duties as Branch Managers, they will oversee clusters of Brookline Bank branches. Their expanded duties include monitoring deposit growth, coordinating staffing and staff development, and assisting managers with sales and service coaching. Mr. Aguiar currently manages the Bank’s West Roxbury office and Mr. Lewan currently manages the Bank’s Newtonville office.
Ms. Semizoglou, of Brighton, Massachusetts, has been promoted to the position of Branch Administrator. In addition to her duties as Branch Manager of the Bank’s Longwood office, she will be responsible for coordinating teller and head teller recruitment, training and development. She will also be responsible for developing and maintaining procedure manuals and training programs.
Mr. Flores, of Franklin, Massachusetts, has been promoted to the position of Branch Manager for the Bank’s Newton Highlands office, which is scheduled to open during the second quarter of 2006. He will be responsible for managing the daily operations and sales activities of the branch. He most recently served as the Assistant Branch Manager of the Bank’s Newtonville office.
