BOSTON, MA (June 9, 2025) – Brookline Bank hosted a grand opening celebration for its new Wellesley Lower Falls office on Wednesday, June 4. The Bank relocated its office, previously at 5 Washington Street, to its new location just a few doors away at 35 Washington Street. The event was attended by representatives from the Wellesley Select Board, the Charles River Regional Chamber of Commerce, local business leaders, and Brookline Bank colleagues.
Wellesley Select Board Chair Colette Aufranc and Charles River Regional Chamber Vice President Lise Elcock were on hand to participate in the ceremonial grand opening ribbon cutting.

Led by Branch Manager Semeon “Sim” Hargan, the Bank’s new location puts an emphasis on convenience, having added a drive-up teller window, more parking, more office space, and a meeting room to better serve the Bank’s customers and the community.
“Brookline Bank has had a strong presence in Wellesley for fifteen years,” said Leslie Joannides-Burgos, Retail Division Executive. “I’m excited about the opportunities this new, highly visible space will provide for Sim and his experienced team to help our customers achieve their financial well-being.”
